The Wanakita Wellness Spa

A spa vacation retreat north of Toronto, on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay, the Delawana Inn Resort offers overnight packages as well as day spa treatments & monthly specials.

The Wanakita Wellness Spa is named after a native legend that tells of how the 30,000 islands in Georgian Bay came to be. Read the full “Legend of Kitchikewana” here.

In the natural landscape and soothing environment of the Delawana, we have incorporated a spa that offers several therapies to ease your body, relax your mind and increase your wellness. Our facility includes a sauna, hot tub, vichy shower, whirlpool jet bath and 10 therapeutic treatment rooms. A complete exercise area including a life fitness treadmill, elliptical and universal weight system compliments any spa treatment as well. Daily pre breakfast walks and scheduled yoga classes are available during the summer.

So try a mix of fresh air hiking, spa treatments, a fitness work-out and a glass of wine. Combined with watching the sunset from our resort balcony or beach will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

Gift Certificates

If you are looking for great gift ideas inquire about our spa gift certificates and give them a gift they will always remember.  Certificates are available for any dollar amount you choose or for any combination of treatments.  To arrange for your gift certificate, please contact the Wanakita Wellness Spa at the Delawana Inn Spa & Conference Resort at 1-888-335-2926 Ext. 526.

Cancellation Policy
In fairness to our guests and therapists, six hour cancellation notice is required or full treatment charges will apply.  Guests not staying at the resort must cancel 24 hours in advance or full charges will apply.

Insurance Reimbursement
Our Registered Massage Therapists are registered with their respected
associations and are able to provide receipts with their name and registration number for you insurance claim purposes. If you intend to submit a receipt, please make sure that your health plan recognizes the treatment you have chosen. We would be happy to answer any questions on this prior to booking your appointment.

Taxes
Rates listed are subject to all applicable taxes.

Spa Facilities
Spa facilities include a sauna, whirlpool, lockers, robes, fitness area including life fitness treadmill, elliptical and universal. When a spa service is purchased these amenities are included to you for that day. If you have not purchased a spa service and would like to us the spa facilities they are available for a small fee. Inquire at the reception for details.


Ontario Spa Packages
Hike, Bike & Spa Packages
As part of your visit to the Delawana, we encourage you to take advantage of our partnership and relationship with Georgian Bay Islands National Park. Guests staying at the Delawana receive a complimentary cruise to and from the park, where they can hike or mountain bike on the many trails.

Spa & Golf
Arrange for Golf Instruction and use our on-site Short Course and Target Range. Group arrangements can be made to combine your spa treatments with a lesson, or to take some time on the target range.

Slavica has translated her vision and knowledge of the wellness and spa industry into a practical and insightful management style which has allowed her to operate her own salon for over 10 years. She delivers a full range of aesthetic and holistic services with the highest regard for client comfort and relaxation. Making even a small difference in her clients' lives is what drives her passion and dedication. It is this passion which has allowed her to receive numerous accolades, including being nominated as the best manicure and pedicure salon in Etobicoke, as well as being interviewed by CBC radio for their "Successful Small Business" documentary series.
